Hey Kids,
so, our tape-label is named LA CASSETTE JAUNE. In every release there will be only ONE yellow cassette thats randomly picked. But why another tape-label? Well, we are both not the youngest guys around and still remember sitting in front of the radio taping our favorite songs. Making tapes for your friends or for yourself for a long journey has always been a pleasure. We think a cassette is just a beautiful medium that should survive in times of mp3s, just like the vinyl.
The first release is going to be "OMEGA MASSIF - Geisterstadt". 49 copies and off course a yellow one in between are almost ready. Only the inlay has to be made. Its 4 € plus shipping and you can (pre)order now via maniyaxrecords@gmail.com. Its going to take another few days until its finally done, maybe we can already bring it to the CRY ME A RIVER.

The sounds of this album may remind you of the good old records of PELICAN and ISIS, but OMEGA MASSIF go much further. The spiralling melodies overlaying the rolling riffs and pummeling basses make the songs of GEISTERSTADT sound celestial and infernal at the same time. The diversity and ingenuity of OMEGA MASSIF is maybe best seen in the 10 minute monster ‘Nebelwand’ - starting with fragile drums and melodies, the tension slowly increases by including an accordion (!!), followed by short outbursts of massive sound walls. However, OMEGA MASSIF are not in a hurry, and so it takes 6 minutes until the powerful sound storms interweaved with the elevated melodies typical for the band finally take the lead and dominate the song until the end. This is not the usual silent start/big climax thing well-known from postrock records - this is one of the best instrumental/metal/doomcore records in the past years! And remember that this is only OMEGA MASSIF’s debut, one can only vaguely guess what is to be expected in the future.

Nu, vielleicht brochn sie Naturalien? Oder einen guten Slave?
Neulich hatte doch einer ein Neurosis-Ticket für Bares oder 2 Kisten Bier angeboten. Bei 5.50 wären das dann allerdings nur 2 Sixpacks ausm Aldi.

Dann bist du wohl so einer der mit ner riesigen Mülltüte vorm Automaten steht und sich hinter dir ne Schlange von 20 m bildet. Ich hasse das, ich steh da mit höchstens 5 Flaschen.

Ich hasse das auch, das ist einfach grauenvoll.
Ich hab immer Eistee getrunken, aber jetzt haben die von Tetrapak auf PET-Flasche umgestellt
.In Wahrheit hab ich nur eine PET, die wird jetzt immer mit Wasser aus der Leitung gefüllt, und fertig
