Oftmals bauen Musiker Referenzen anderer Künstler in ihre Texte ein. Ob nun der Name, eine Textzeile oder ein Albumtitel, es gibt sicher eine Menge. Hier mal zwei, die mir sofort in den Sinn kamen:

Bloodhoug Gang haben mal das Lied Fire Water Burn gemacht, das komplett aufgrund des Textes und der Musik eine Referenz (Monkey gone to heaven) auf die Pixies ist, Frank Black aber auch erwähnt wird:
