Hehe, nicht ganz... Damals gab es ja noch ein anderes Bewertungssystem, das von 1 ("absoluter Schrott") bis 5 ("Klassiker!") ging, wobei auch Zwischenwerte wie "4,5" vergeben wurden. Wenn ich das richtig sehe, gab es keine offizielle "Platte des Monats", aber "Apocalypse Dudes" ist unter den "Schönheiten der Ausgabe" die Platte, die in den Displays am besten Abschnitt. Es gab nicht ein Display, sondern vier (!) nach groben Musikrichtungen aufgeteilte. Turbonegro waren bei "Basic" ("grundlegend wichtige Veröffentlichungen") und "Loud!" ("harte Spannungsfeld von Punk, Metal, Hardcore und Industrial") vertreten und haben da mit den Werten 4,22 und 4,38 die ersten Plätze belegt. Da auch in den anderen Displays ("Sub" und "Groove") keine Platte bessere Werte hatte, behaupte ich einfach mal, dass "Apocalypse Dudes" die Platte des Monats war...
2 Sachen, die mir auffallen.
Recover bekam in der Ausageb 146 ne top-bewertung, tauchte in den Jahrestop 50 aber gar nicht mehr auf.
Wohl doch nicht so gut gewesen das Album ....
Und das Creed mal Platte des Monats war, ist wohl ein Treppenwitz der VISIONS-geschichte...hehe
