Converge haben heute ihre Wolverine Blues Sessions auf Bandcamp veröffentlicht. Fünf Mal der gleiche Song, jedes Mal andere Sänger: Jacob Bannon, Aaron Turner, Kevin Baker, Nate Newton, Tomas Lindberg & Kurt Ballou. Alle zusammen waren auf der Split mit Napalm Death zu hören, jetzt gibt's jede Interpretation einzeln. Nerd-Komplettisten-Kram, aber dafür ist hier ja wohl der richtige Ort.

CONVERGE "Live at the BBC" 7"EP out soon on Deathwish Inc. Coming soon. A release date and Pre-ordering info will be announced shortly. Converge "Live at the BBC" was recorded live by Simon Askew in the historic Studio MV4 at Maida Vaile Studios at the BBC in London, August 2010. Studio MV4 is the previous home to the legendary John Peel sessions, which birthed legendary recordings from artists like New Order, The Cure, Carcass, Napalm Death and countless others. The recording boasts live in the studio renditions of "Dark Horse", "Axe To Fall", "Damages", as well as a rare, electrified version of "Hanging Moon" (the original "You Fail Me" recording features only acoustic guitars). Special thanks to Epitaph Records, Tschepitz & Nomads of Prague, and Daniel Carter & The BBC for making this recording a reality.

Hat vielleicht jemand grundsätzliches Interesse daran, aus der AWLWLB-Print-Kollektion (die anderen Sachen gehen natürlich auch) was mitzubestellen und ein bisschen Porto zu sparen? Ich denke drüber nach, mir so einen Siebdruck zu schnappen, weil ich den Stil und die Farben super finde. Weiß aber noch nicht, ob ich gerade wirklich die Kohle dafür übrig habe. Kurzes Update: Wenn man mehr als zwei Drucke bestellt, steigt das Porto von 17 auf 50 Dollar. Ja, richtig gelesen: 50. Da würde eine Sammelbestellung sind dann nicht mehr so richtig lohnen.
