We're pleased to present you the final lineup for DENOVALI SWINGFEST LONDON 2014. This year's edition will take place at two of the most remarkable venues of the city: Village Underground (April 18th) & Cafe Oto (April 19th).


TICKET PREORDER
You can preorder your tickets at www.denovali.com/swingfest - please consider that the number of tickets for day two is limited to 200 people.

The tickets of the first release are already sold out. The second release price is 28£ for a Friday ticket, 18£ for a Saturday ticket and 46£ for a festival ticket (due to the high production costs of this Swingfest event there will be no discounted tickets for both days unfortunately).


LINEUP SWINGFEST LONDON 2014
The 2014 London edition of the festival will feature 11 artists. Their sets will - as always - be as long as a proper club concert.

Origamibiro (UK)

Petrels (UK)

Origamibiro ist schon fein, die durfte ich letztens rezensieren, hat richtig Spaß gemacht (also: vor allem die Musik). Mir sind sehr viele Assoziationen zu anderen schönen Bands gekommen, obwohl weiterhin sehr eigen.

Petrels' "Haelagiwaelle" (puh! Wie man das wohl wirlich schreibt) hat großartige Momente; zurückgelehnter, dynamischer Drone.

Anna von Hauswolff hab' ich auf dem Haldern gesehen: Obwohl eher Independent passt das schon. Tatsächlich auch viele sphärische Drones (Was das nur wieder bedeutet?).

Witxes letztens inner Kirche fand ich nur zum Schluss gut, da aber richtig gut. Sonst teils zu varianten-arm.

Hidden Orchestra ist eh immer toll.


Ich fahr' trotzdem nicht hin.

Witxes hab ich in Essen gesehen, leider nur 1 1/2 Songs, aber die haben mich weggeblasen. Auf Platte sind die aber alles andere als variantenarm, im Gegenteil. Selten so ein spannendes Album gehört und ist damit auch verdient in meinen Jahres Top10 gelandet.

Frau von Hauswolff sollte das musizieren besser ihrem Herrn Papa überlassen. Der macht um Welten bessere Sachen.

Köner ist live immer ein Ereignis.

Petrels hab ich jetzt einmal ins neue Album reingehört. Das ist mir bis jetzt zu zerfahren, aber vielleicht wirds noch.

Ich fahr aber auch nicht hin.
