1997 wurde Blackmails selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum veröffentlicht. die scheibe entstand in Koblenz, nicht in Seattle!

es sollten nicht unbedingt alben, die auch im heft vorkommen, hier thema sein - aber wenn es doch so sein sollte ist das natürlich auch kein problem.
hab da im übrigen schon ein bis zwei werke im auge, die hier vermutlich nicht soooo oft laufen:

Ich würde super gerne mal wieder einen Klassiker ausführlich rannehmen und schaue heute nachmittag mal durchs Regal, womit ich euch denn am besten belästigen kann.

1997 Voivod mit Phobos, Oasis - Be Here Now, Portishead - s/t, Spice Girls.

Deftones, Mogwai und Foo Fighters übernimmt sicher die Visions selber.

Schon ein paar ganz gute Alben, wenn man mal die offensichtlichen, Hellacopters, Gluecifer, Radiohead ect. weglässt.

Hot Water Music, Get Up Kids, Samiam, Knapsack, Blink 182, Lifetime, alle mit absoluten Großtaten. Aber wahrscheinlich alle auch von Visions besprochen, muss ich noch checken.

Unabhängig davon hätte ich noch das einzige Album von The Blacktop Cadence anzubieten.

das "verlorene" Cop Shoot Cop-Album aus 1997, etwa ein Jahr nach Auflösung der Band - "The band dissolved a year or so (Anmerkung: zwei Jahre...) after Release. Tod claimed the group had been treated poorly by Interscope, and refused to allow the company to issue their final album. The other band members disagreed, noting the album was very nearly complete, and that they had all worked on the $150,000 recording sessions. The remaining members of Cop Shoot Cop attempted to complete the album, but Interscope declined to release the material. It eventually found an outlet in the album Red Expendables." (Wiki)

Lifetime wird die Visions im Laufe des Jahres selber abdecken. Get Up Kids wären aber ne Maßnahme

Ein Review zu Reload wäre aber wohl auch gut - das aber von jemand, der das Album mal in Gänze gehört hat, i.e. nicht von mir. Nine Lives ist auch super, aber Olsen soll lieber die Metallica machen, so als Metaller und so.
