DOOM OVER LEIPZIG 2018 
18.4. - 21.4.2018
This is the first announcement for the upcoming Doom Over Leipzig Festival 2018 including five acts. As in previous years we were sitting together to discuss, argue, compose, curate an interesting line-up full of contrasts, interfaces, surprises and varying moods.
DOL'18 will be featured by post-metal veterans The Ocean Collective playing their groundbreaking “Precambrian (Proterozoic)”, furthermore we invited Seattle doom metal duo Bell Witch. A tour through Europe was long overdue for Alda – we’re excited to have them at DOL'18. BISON from Canada will also play the festival promoting their new album “You Are Not The Ocean You Are The Patient”.
Concluding we want to announce a special performance by The Black Heart Rebellion who open the festival already on Wednesday, April 18th scoring the feminist vampire movie “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night” by Iranian American director Ana Lily Amirpour.
This was only the beginning — stay tuned for more updates in the next weeks.

das ist echt mal eine fantastische erste ansage fürs dol vor allem die filmvertonung von black heart rebellion klingt seeeeehr interessant. naja, das roadburn-lineup entschädigt dafür ganz fantastisch...

Also wenn fenne kommt mach ich mich auch (irgendwie) frei!!!
Ich fühle mich diamanten unter Druck... aber das spornt an - ich check' das mal. 
Modern Life is War kommen nach Karlsruhe, was natürlich cool ist, aber sie haben die Cro-Mags und Terror dabei, die ich wirklich nicht brauche und deren Publikum auch nicht. Also hin oder nicht 
Man mag sich eine Show ja wirklich nicht vermiesen lassen, aber zuviele Idioten um einen rum können das schaffen 
. Wobei ich keine Ahnung von den beiden Bands und schon gar nicht von deren Fans habe.

Die Eels sind Headliner vom Maifeld Derby.
das heißt, es wird immer wahrscheinlicher, dass ich dieses komische monnem dieses jahr mal aufsuchen muss...
Wenn ja, dann sag Bescheid. 
Finde es jedes Jahr schade dass da absolut keine Musik für mich dabei ist, auf diesem Maifeld Derby.
Für mich gibt es da meistens auch nur wenig. Und so toll das Festival auch is es blockiert mit seinem Programm leider auch viele potentielle Klubkonzerte.
