Preorder: SAFFRONKEIRA debut 10'' + SANKT OTTEN new CD|LP
Hello everyone.
We're back with two new releases: one by a denovali rookie: SAFFRONKEIRA from Italy - and one by the denovali doyens / dinosaurs / grandfathers: SANKT OTTEN.
SAFFRONKEIRA is the Italian sound artists Eugenio Cara - with this project he lives out his passion of being a researcher of the possibility of expression offered by currently available technology. His debut is a 2 track 10'' (which is limited to 350 copies and won't be repressed) - in July will follow his first album called ''A New Life'' as a 2xCd and on two different 2xLPs. His sound should please fans of MURCOF, ALVA NOTO, FENNESZ or maybe ARVO PART. A fantastic diversified sound.
Most of you already know the German duo SANKT OTTEN because of several past releases we've did with them - especially the last full length ''Gottes Synthesizer'' and their split record with MAJEURE. They're now back with a new 8 tracks album. ''Sequencer Liebe (Sequencer Love)'' leads into a paradise of warm analogue sounds garnished with the typical soaring guitar drones of Oliver Klemm, while the band's mastermind Stephan Otten flavoured these ingredients with his 80s electronic drum sounds. New Artist: We're also happy to present you a new denovali artist which also will perform at this year's Swingfest edition (Oct 5th to 7th in Essen): THE NEST - Comprising of Christoph Clöser (Bohren & der Club of Gore), Tycho Schottelius (Desmond Denker), Thomas Mahmoud & Gerald Mandl (Tannhäuser Sterben & das Tod) The Nest have created their own blend of electronic sounds, jazz and noise across various improvisational sessions recorded live in Cologne in 2011. Release news: We're on top very pleased to present you two fantastic new releases of an act which is on board for a long time but was pretty inactive in the past three years: We've just started the preorder for the PIRATE SHIP QUINTET debut album Rope for No-Hopers. Cd and Vinyl artworks are both coming with a nice gold foil print. Additionally we're offering their s/t debut again on vinyl and cd. This one quickly acquired a certain chic status among the niche circles of the UK and European post-rock scene. It's very limited print run sold out rapidly and until now has never been repressed. We've as always listed all details concerning the releases below.
THE PIRATE SHIP QUINTET in early June will play a mini European tour to present the new album live. The dates look like this:

Carlos Cipa is a 22 year old composer/musician residing in Munich (Germany). Influenced by Eric Satie and Claude Debussy his piano music impresses particularly because of its intensity and great attention to detail. Hi everyone.
After our little European summer break we're now back with four nice new releases of two new denovali artists and a couple of further updates.
NEW RELEASES
Before we're putting out the new TALVIHORROS album in fall we're now offering his first two albums for the first time on vinyl. Both limited to 350 pieces and with a stunning reversed side printed gatefold design.
''Some Ambulance'' should be the first port of call for those with even a passing interest in where electro-acoustic and ambient music is heading in 2009/10 (...)It is not an exaggeration to say this is one of my favourite records this year'' (SIC Magazine)
The second package we're presenting you this month features two records of the New York based composer Mario Diaz De Leon. Released on Cd under his real name earlier this year the album ''Hynos'' now sees the light of day as a 2xLP under the name ONEIROGEN. Steve Smith of the New York Times praised the disc for its "hallucinatory intensity''. In line with Hypnos we're directly offering the second Oneirogen output - a fantastix three tracks 12'' called Veni Nox Amina. Oneirogen will perform for the first time in europe at the DENOVALI SWINGFEST on October 6th in Essen (Germany).

NEW RELEASES
We're very happy to present you the brand new album of our Swedish chaps SWITCHBLADE. Since we're always fans of crazy ideas we're happy to announce that the band developed their own coffee blend with the nice people at Stockholm Roast. The coffee beans will be available w/ the limited edition 2xLP of this new full length. We are also offering a limited edition of coffee cups with a Switchblade design.
We're also finally releasing the long awaited wooden 4xLP collection box of the Polish jazz boys CONTEMPORARY NOISE SEXTET. The Cd Collection is also still available and now online for a discounted price. The 4xLP Box is limited to 200 copies and won't be repressed.
