Okay, Seth Rogen bleibt immer Seth Rogen. Aber die Chemie mit Charlize Theron, Bombe. Überhaupt Theron, die Frau kann Komödie mit Grazie. Ein besserer Regisseur hätte Rogen's Sex & Drogen Humor mehr gebremst (ich meine nicht abgeschwächt. Aber limitiert in der Häufigkeit).
Und als cis-hete: Wenn Theron ihn bittet feste von hinten und ...
Gute Rom-Com nach Formel, aber die Darsteller haben Spaß der sich überträgt.

Adam McKay seziert hier wirklich amerikanische Politik seit den 70ern. Wie bei The Long Short, für den Wissenden wenig neues, aber so stringent inszeniert sieht man das selten. Er zeigt auch die direkten Opfer dieser Politik.
Und trotzdem fühlt sich der Film mehr wie What's up Doc an als ein Telekolleg II.

Schöne Bilder machen noch keinen guten Film. Die Figuren bleiben doch recht formelhaft, das außerirdische Viech schaut immer mehr wie Alien (tm) aus, die Eskalationsstufen sind vorhersehbar (werden im Film auch schön mit Firewall 1-3 benannt). Puh, zynisch gesagt, ausser die notgeile Aussicht Lawrence nackt zu sehen spricht nichts für den Film. Eine hundertausendmal durchgekaute Ost-West Klischee Parade ohne Humor. Da ich nicht steil gehe, weil eine Schauspielerin blank zieht: 1/12

Letztes Wochenende, knapp vergessen, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo bzw. Finchers Verblendung gesehen, der in der ersten Hälfte Tension durch eben 'ne gute Stunde nüscht aufbaut, dann aber echt anzieht und eigentlich auch wird sowie dies gar ist...
...wenn's hlt nicht die klassische Extrem-Machismo-Thematik wär'. Natürlich funktioniert die Sache, auch weil Lisbeth "nur"/v.a. so figurenmäßig Sinn ergibt - trotzdem a bisserl too op is' -, aber das macht den sonst fein inszenierten und ausgezeichnet getwisteten Streifen partiell zu Schablonenwerk.
